Zurich Announces 6th Year of Support for AFA Adviser of Year Awards
Zurich Australia will sponsor the 2008 AFA Adviser of the Year Award for the sixth consecutive year, demonstrating its ongoing support for the financial advice industry.
Zurich was the inaugural sponsor when the award was established in 2003. Now it is the major national award for the Association’s risk advisers.
"Our partnership with the AFA offers us the opportunity to demonstrate Zurich's commitment to the industry's most critical issues; service, support and education," Zurich’s Head of Life Risk, Andrew McKee said.
The AFA's CEO, Richard Klipin, believes the award is now well established as the premium way in the Association can recognise and foster the educational and ethical standards of members.
"Advisers, who must be members of the AFA, are judged on criteria such as their experience, contribution to the industry and the quality of their business and practice management," Richard said.

The 2008 AFA Adviser of the Year Award sponsored by Zurich will be presented to the winner at the AFA's National Conference Gala Dinner on the 21 October 2008.
