What is GenXt?

GenXt is an initiative of the Association of Financial Advisers. It is intended to ‘bridge the gap’ between the current & Next Generation by formulating a programme of events and forums to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, experience, skills and networks between the generations. It is about stimulus, inspiration and motivation, and about helping you survive in the early days, then grow and prosper as your career develops.

GenXt is also your pathway to building networks with your peers, complementary service professionals, and centre’s of influence – networks that will consolidate your development and enhance your profile within the industry.

Who is a prospect for GenXt?

You are a prospect for GenXt if you have a thirst for knowledge and self improvement and the desire to be one of the best in your profession.

All disciplines are eligible:- Financial Planners, Risk Advisers, Finance Brokers, Accountants, Stockbrokers and Solicitors to name a few. It is not necessary that the person be an Adviser; associated roles involved in Para-Planning, Compliance, Administration, Underwriting or Management are equally welcome.

The AFA’s ongoing relevance is due to its philosophy of being an association of Advisers run by Advisers. This means Advisers set the agenda, decide which issues to tackle and shape the organisation’s strategic plan.
