AFA Foundation Grants 2023

The AFA Foundation committee invites AFA members to nominate a local charity, which may not otherwise receive funding, to receive a grant in 2023. We encourage our members to make a real difference to those in need.

In 2022, the AFA Foundation awarded grants to ten charities across Australia. Many were focused on service delivery and support to those impacted by food insecurity, mental health, unemployment and shelter. Submit an application below before 21 April 2023!

Established in 2007, the AFA Foundation is a core pillar in the AFA’s member commitment to support the wider community and the greater good of society. Through the financial contributions and hard work of members of the AFA family and the AFA Foundation committee we have raised over $2m for charity partners across Australia. The AFA Foundation encourages giving back to local communities by:

  • Offering a structured way of donating to a range of charity partners at national and local levels, where the power of the collective donations can achieve greater outcomes.
  • Facilitating connections with charity partners for the adviser or practice to create an ongoing relationship.
  • Offering experiences that are life changing, such as the adventure fundraising trips to Kokoda.

The AFA Foundation thanks AIA Australia and Zurich OnePath for their support as corporate partners for 2022 and 2023.
