  1. Why is financial advice important to you?

Good financial advice allows people to live better lives. I feel extremely privileged to be able to share my knowledge and expertise in advice with others and to potentially be able to influence their lives in such a powerful way.

  1. Your favourite quote?

‘Money doesn’t matter’ My father always used to say this to me when I was young. The older I get, the more I understand what he means. Money will not bring you happiness and love, and those are the things that really matter in life. I often share this philosophy with my clients and it allows them to start concentrating on achieving their true goals.

  1. One thing you’ve changed in your workplace during COVID-19

Our entire team now works from home and we have made this a permanent choice. We will go to our CBD office for a day a week to collaborate and connect. But overall we have enjoyed the increase in output and efficiency we have been able to gain by cutting out 1-2 hours worth of travel time every day. We have seen an increase in our staff’s health, work life balance and also financial benefits for our company.

  1. Your most recent ‘high-five’ moment?

I was part of building an API connector that connects our Leads app (Particle Leads) to our CRM (Xeppo). It was an amazing experience to work with the technology development teams and seeing the systems connect. Knowing that I was part of creating something brand new was a real career highlight for me.

  1. What can we find you doing most weekends?

On the weekend I spend time with my husband Martin and my two gorgeous daughters Mia (7) and Madelaine (5). We go to watch them at Kung Fu on Saturdays and then go out to restaurants with friends on Sundays.

  1. Have you seen (heard) anything lately that made you smile?

The CEO of our company called me last week and said ‘Jasmin we have a company conference coming up and I really want you there, but it’s interstate and I know you don’t like to be away from the girls for too long. I wanted to see if you would like to come or if you would prefer to stay in Sydney?’ So many people have put years of hard work into sharing how it feels for a working mum to have to make these, sometimes difficult, choices between home and career. I loved receiving this phone call, which was full of respect for me as both an executive and a mum.

  1. What are you reading right now?

I read German books to keep up the connection to my heritage. At the moment I am reading a gory thriller 😊
