Adaptive Change - taking advice beyond the horizon

Thanks for coming along to this important National Practitioner Roadshow as we showcased both the ‘theory’ and ‘practice’ of how leading businesses are adapting to change and making our own successful adjustment to this exciting profession.

The MyRetirement regime started 1 July and Andrew Lowe from Challenger discussed the financial advice opportunities available from these legislative changes. To delve deeper into retirement adjustment we also explored the emotional side of retirement with Dr Joanne Earl from Flinders University and Faculty, PortfolioConstruction Forum. This was an in-depth look at the last stages of retirement.

AFA Award winners Henderson Maxwell and Darren Johns also shared their ways of doing things in practice, with a particular focus on client engagement.

Wrapping up the Roadshow we had best-selling author and illustrator Matthew Johnstone, partnered with CommInsure. Matthew focused on how to build your own mental resilience by providing tools and techniques to deal with stress. His evidence based research findings form the basis of his new book due out in 2018.
