Long-standing Charity Partners

MS Research Australia

MS Research Australia (MSRA) is AFA Foundation’s longest-standing charity partner and is the largest Australian not-for-profit organization dedicated to funding, co-ordinating, educating and advocating for MS research as part of the worldwide effort to solve multiple sclerosis. MSRA was established in 2004 and its mission is to accelerate Australian MS research toward the prevention, better treatments and a cure for MS.

Lifeline

Lifeline is a long-standing AFA Foundation charity partner and provides all Australians experiencing a personal crisis with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. Lifeline is committed to empowering Australians to be suicide-safe through connection, compassion and hope. In 2018 Lifeline received over 893,000 and were able to answer 82% of the calls. With around 8 people per day taking their own lives in Australia, funding and supporting Lifeline is critical.

Make a wish Foundation

Make a Wish Foundation is a long-standing charity partner of the AFA Foundation and as one of Australia’s most reputable charities, partners with sick kids, their families and medical teams to grant wishes as unique as the children who imagine them. A Make-A-Wish gift is not a fleeting gift – each child’s Wish Journey is carefully planned and delivered over several stages to create a positive, lasting impact. Make a Wish has delivered more than 10,000 wishes since 1985, and counting!
