FASEA Exam Help Offered
AFA News 25 February 2021. We often receive feedback that advisers who fail the FASEA exam don’t receive feedback on where they have gone wrong. This is an important issue that we have discussed with FASEA, and they are now doing more to provide assistance and feedback. FASEA have compiled a number of key learnings and they are now providing this feedback through a webinar that will be available to all who are registered to sit the exam. We strongly encourage all advisers to attend these webinars, as this is an important opportunity for you to gain valuable insights about the exam, and to help you prepare.
Going forward, all advisers who are booked to sit an exam will be invited to attend a free pre-exam webinar hosted by FASEA.
The webinar will provide the following information:
- An understanding of how the exam is constructed
- What the exam is testing
- The type of questions you can expect and how best to structure your responses
- How to use the FASEA preparation resources
- Tips to plan your study and exam day
- Q&A time at the end.

FASEA Exam Update
FASEA have advised 1,900 advisers have registered to sit the March exam. If advisers register for the March exam, this will allow for a maximum of an additional two attempts to pass the exam before the end of the year. The March exam booking closes on 5 March 2021.
