AFA News 21 January 2021. FASEA are conducting pre-exam briefing webinars this week for those who are booked into complete the January/February exams.
If you are an adviser who is registered for the January/February 2021 exam, we would like to hear your thoughts on this process after you have attended the pre-exam webinar. Please email any feedback to campusafa@afa.asn.au
The webinar should be of significant value to you as it will cover the following:
- Exam construct
- Exam preparation
- What the exam is testing
- What questions to expect
- Planning your study
- Exam day tips
- Q&A.
FASEA intend to run these webinars before each exam sitting to help advisers to better prepare for the exam.
It is important to note, existing financial advisers have until the end of 2021 to pass the FASEA exam to allow them to continue to provide financial advice and remain registered on the ASIC FAR.
There are six exam sittings in 2021 and it is recommended that you prepare early and book into the earliest available sitting to maximise your chance to pass. Existing advisers will have up to three chances to sit the exam in 2021, provided they attempt either the January/February 2021 sitting or the March 2021 sitting.
