The Power of Planning – Getting Estate Planning Right For Your Clients and For You

The recent release of the FASEA practice exam questions caused a great deal of concern, particularly with respect to Estate Planning questions and Enduring Powers of Attorney.

We received a lot of feedback from members suggesting that this is not their area of expertise. A basic understanding of Estate Planning is, nonetheless, very useful for all financial advisers and as a result, we arranged a webinar on estate planning.

The webinar was presented by Nicholle Nobel on 10 July 2019. Nicholle is a solicitor working with Fitzpatrick Estate Lawyers, a boutique law firm with a longstanding reputation for specialist expertise in Estate Planning.

AFA Inspire: The Future You - Michelle Hoskin

The AFA Inspire Community hosted an insightful and inspiring webinar presentation by Michelle Hoskin from Standards International, speaking about the future you! In a profession where we spend pretty much every waking moment focused on taking care of the needs of others, our families, friends and clients get the lion’s share of our attention. Sadly, this means we often forget to take care of the most important person of all – ourselves! The Future You™ breaks down the below 10 key areas of our amazing lives and challenges you to think about a future where you have total freedom of choice, no restrictions and no worries – a future in which you are totally free to be who and what you want! Physically – Mentally/emotionally – Professionally – Relationships – Free time – Environment – Financially – Capabilities – Spiritually – Charity
