Your Best Interests

Your Best Interests

Your Best Interests  is a consumer focused initiative by the AFA on behalf of members to create a deeper understanding of the value of financial advice and the difference it makes to the lives of everyday Australians.

YBI E-Magazine

As the world around us transforms, we’re adapting by bringing the consumer the information they need in a different way. Our goal? To ensure we’re helping consumers build a happy future for their family. After all, focussing on family and finance is at the heart of what we do.

Here at YBI, we know that just having money isn’t the important thing. It’s the freedom of choice it allows and the option of taking the time you need, when you want it, to spend with those you love that is key. This is why we have launched our YBI E-Magazine, published 11 times per year and a free member resource for you to share with your clients. We will be covering a range of topics and looking at the life defining moments and providing consumers with information to help them on this journey.

If you would like to provide content for the e-magazine please contact karen.tinnelly@afa.asn.au

Your Best Interests Content Hub

Following the successful launch of the Your Best Interests consumer website and TV show in 2015, we are delighted to launch your new Your Best Interests (YBI) content hub. The Your Best Interests content hub is now mobile optimised making it more user-friendly for how consumers are likely to interact with the site. As our consumer reach steadily increases, we will shortly start a dedicated newsletter written by AFA Members. We are committed to continuing to build the Your Best Interests as a valuable consumer resource that helps inform and educate the public on the transformative power of financial advice. It showcases real Australians going through real life journeys – it helps connect consumers with AFA Advisers that are most suited to them.

If you would like to submit content please send your articles, blogs and videos to karen.tinnelly@afa.asn.au

Your Best Interests TV Series

Helping Consumers Connect with AFA Advisers

Your Best Interests is supported by a dedicated consumer education centre that contains useful information about financial advice, what it is and how it helps everyday Australians. Please click here for articles and more information on financial advice.

How AFA Advisers Can Get Involved?

Your Best Interests Find an Adviser Tool

Designed to help consumers find an AFA financial adviser they connect with, Members are invited to have their profile included in the directory so Australians seeking advice can find advisers in their local area and read about what they specialise in, their business and approach.

This powerful referral tool supports AFA’s vision of bringing great advice for more Australians. Log in to the Member Portal of the (new) site.

The AFA ‘Find an Adviser’ tool is a key resource and we encourage our Practitioner Members to create or update your adviser profile on the Your Best Interests website, before it launches live to the public.
